It contains all the components of the antler. The reason is, because the blood contains an abundance of growth factors, platelets and stems cells. We take the entire antler without draining it, we flash freeze-dry it, and then gently process and grind it down with out heating past 118 degrees. We then spin out all the inorganic matter and ash. (Non nutritive matter) Once this process is done we have 43:1 extract, meaning 43 pounds of raw antler make 1 pound of finished product. That is what we extract in alcohol and water for the finished formula.
